Become a Volunteer
We are looking for bus drivers, car drivers, assistants and administrative helpers.
- Our volunteers assist elderly, disabled and disadvantaged residents with their transportation needs.
- Volunteering gives you the opportunity to support your community while meeting new people and socialising with other volunteers throughout the Shoalhaven.
- Volunteers are given free training, ID badge and uniform and are reimbursed for out of pocket expenses including fuel when using their own vehicle for transport of clients and volunteering.
- You will be required to undergo a police check and provide us with a driving record. Costs required to obtain these items will be reimbursed to you by the organisation.
- Bus Drivers: This position requires a LR Licence
- Car Drivers: This position requires a C Licence.
- Bus Assistants: This position supports the bus driver and provides assistance to the clients during the provision of transport services.
- Office Assistants: Helping with general office duties such as filing, mail outs and other specific projects.
